Katakana print 2nd Edition

Illustrated print of "katakana", Japanese alphabet. Katakana is like hiragana but used for transcription of foreign language. They are used less frequently than Hiragana and very hard to master.
I chose each sample vocabularies very carefully and picked household items, animals and activities we enjoy. This is a 2nd edition, some references are updated with a help and requests from friends. Putting up this poster on your wall will help you master katakana.
I started this project originally in 2018 in A1 size to help my daughter learning Japanese. Printed in 120 gsm pure white matte paper. It's A3 size and printed with Riso at East London studio by me.
Please note the visual textures and some registration are sometimes inconsistent or uneven with Riso. These are characteristic of the printing method and not a "mistake".
