This card is hot foil printed with very old and heavy machine one by one. Hot foil printing is very much suited to add tactile and luxurious finish to a little special occasions. It is also very clean method of printing.
A Daruma doll is a traditional Japanese doll modeled after a Buddhist monk who founded the Zen tradition of Buddhism. These dolls are typically red and round, with a bearded face, and are considered to be a symbol of perseverance, good luck, and goal setting in Japanese culture. When setting a goal or making a wish, one fills in one of the doll's eyes with a black ink. Once the goal is achieved or the wish fulfilled, the other eye is filled in. Daruma dolls are often used as talismans of encouragement and motivation.
The card includes two googly eye stickers, separate from the card, allowing the recipient to affix them as they make a wish and pursue their goals.
