Moth print

Lino cut print of pink and yellow moth in A5 size. Singed and editioned of 50. Each print had slightly different shades and registration and these are typical characteristics of hand printing. Prints are made with hand-mixed colours in small batch. That means that each card is truly one-of-a-kind, with its own unique blend of colours that can't be replicated. 

About letterpress machine and how it works:

A cylinder proof press is a printing press that uses a rotating cylinder to transfer ink from a plate to paper. The plate is mounted on a flat bed, and the cylinder is positioned above it. The paper is fed between the cylinder and the plate, and the cylinder rolls over the paper, pressing it against the plate and transferring the ink onto it.
