Letterpress Christmas cards

Individually hand printed using traditional letterpress, onto 300gsm uncoated cotton based paper. Original artwork was hand drawn using ink on paper, then tidied using Wacom on illustrator. After that metal plates have been made to print with letterpress machine. Wrapped in a glassine bag to avoid plastic packaging.

Wrapping paper

Printed onto 100gsm, 100% recycled paper (FSC approved) with warm and tactile texture. Printed with “offset lithography” which involves transferring ink from specially made plate onto paper. Original artwork was created from hand carved rubber stamps then turned into clean repeated pattern in photoshop.

Luxurious Christmas cards

Hand printed Christmas card using traditional letter press and foil blocking press. Printed onto 300gsm cotton based paper. Paired with G F Smith colourplan envelopes.

I heart Riga lino print

I made this single colour lino print all about the folk art from Riga, Latvia.

Moth print

Here's the process of creating the artwork using illustrator, then I carved lino to be printed with letterpress machine. It's useful to use a digital image first to see the overlapping colours and testing different colour ways before printing with inks.

Riso wrapping paper

I created repeated pattern from rubber stamps I carved then over printed with red and pink with Riso.

Climbing wall Riso prints

I was asked to create prints to be displayed at Castle Climbing Centre cafe. I recreated shapes and colours of an indoor climbing wall using Riso. Printed on to 100gsm recycled paper, A3 size.

Hiragana Poster

Illustrated poster of "hiragana", Japanese alphabet. Many picture references come from retro Japanese food, customs and everyday objects. It's A1, plenty of room to draw, colour and add your own mark. Printed onto tinted sugar paper with dark blue ink. Lithographically printed in London onto 100gsm sugar paper.

Greeting cards commission from Kitchen Provisions shop

I was asked to design and produce a collection of greeting cards for Kitchen provisions who specialise in Japanese kitchen knives, vintage and unusual kitchen gadgets.

Logo design for Manon Boutique

I was asked to design a  black and white logo for handmade closing brand Manon Boutique.
