A2 giclee print of katakana, set of Japanese characters. Katakana is like hiragana but used for transcription of foreign language. There are some exceptions but I wrote individual objects illustrated in English along with katakana, because most English words here originate to the katakana words and they both sounds similar. This poster has child friendly and educational feel with full of colourful squares but also suited to anyone who is learning Japanese or looking for something to cheer up the interior.
Printed onto 300 gsm Museum etching paper which has light texture with matte surface, perfect for reproducing watercolour images as they give warm and crafty feel with accurate vibrant colours.
Edtion of 20, individually signed and editioned.
Originally printed June 2018.
